Just a quick note to say that I’ll be signing copies of the Cynglish Beat at Dalhousie Station Chapters Book Store from noon to 4pm tomorrow, June 6th. Come on down and say ‘hi’.
Unfortunately we have had to cancel the upcoming Beat Cancer With a Shtick fundraiser/book launch/50th birthday party on July 3rd. This is a double-shame because our family-circle just lost another dear friend to cancer — Dr. Ed Franczak.
I’ve known Ed and Olga for my entire 50 years and Ed truly was a graceful, gentle, kind-hearted soul who cared for the world. He will be missed dearly by Olga and the ‘kids’ Michael, Stephen & Susan and their families.
