It is with great pleasure that I announce the acquisition of my somewhat romantic paranormal novel, "Waking Anastasia", by Tyche Books of Calgary, for release in 2016.
Free for Kindle?
Okay, Kindle-owners (and app-users)... My urban fantasy eNovel is now free! Go get it! If you read it and don't like it, I will give you your money back, but only if you get it this weekend! Where else will you find a history-bending adventure in which the hero has MS, hangs out with a whistling pixie, and can compare Jesus Christ and Adolf Hitler and make sense? This is NOT satire. It's a story of the battle for our souls, with plenty of fighting, some humour, and warning about all those security cameras you see around you.
The Porn of Writing
We delve into our own souls and the world around us to find depth and meaning which will give our characters and tales life and spark the imaginations of our readers
A Short Summary of Tim Reynolds’ Published Short Fiction Since 9-2011
t has been a busy 12 months for my suddenly-alive short story writing and I thought I'd quickly toss up the covers of the projects done and the ones scheduled before the end of 2012. Let's start with the Photoshopped writer's shelf.
Shanghai Steam (a Wuxia Steam Punk anthology)
By blending actual martial arts with the mythical and science-fictional, and then setting it all in a real place in a specific time, I tried to make ‘The Ability of Lightness’ feel like a true story that no one had told before.
The Search for the ‘Perfect’ Author Photo of an Imperfect Author
I refuse to do a serious photo with my chin on my fist --- that's intellectual cheesecake and smacks of lack of imagination. If we can write amazing stories, can we not imagine a photo which shows readers who we are (or as much as we're willing to reveal)?
Best of Canadian Speculative Writing of 2011? Cool!
"From gunshots in the streets of Paris to brass-and-glass automatons on the sea floor off the coast of North Africa, Hawkwood's Folly draws an English lord, a French doctor and a young Russian bo's'n's mate into the deadly ocean depths on their quest to build a Utopia where no man has ventured before.

A New Steampunk Anthology!
"Hawkwood's Folly" blends together equal portions of science, philosophy, and adventure in a Jules Verne homage that asks 'how far is too far?'."
That World Wide Web thingy
I need to know if a certain Hostel I've never been to has private rooms or just dorm-style. I need to now the weather of a place all the way around on the other side/end of this big blue marble. I need to know exactly when Fidel Castro took back Cuba.
